About Allison Pohlman, MSW, LCSW


Allison E. Pohlman, MSW, LCSW, (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Therapist, and Outpatient Psychotherapist specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) at Spectrum Behavioral Health, LLC, a mental health practice and outpatient mental health clinic in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Allison serves adolescents, adults, and families. 

She specializes in the treatment of women's issues, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and suicidal ideation.

Allison is also skilled and knowledgeable in the treatment of body image issues, eating disorders including types (e.g., anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, etc.), social skills training, and parenting.

Her treatment approaches include CBT, behavior modification, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), family therapy, strengths approach, play therapy, mindfulness, and brainspotting (BSP). 

BSP is a newer form of therapy that aims to help clients process through traumatic experiences and difficult emotions. In BSP, different eye positions are used to help identify brain spots linked to specific emotions, experiences, or sources of distress.

Allison takes a person-centered, integrative, holistic, and evidence-based approach to care, providing a spectrum of services to meet a wide range of needs and backgrounds.
