KEVIN CARMODY

In Memoriam

December 10, 1956 – July 23, 2020 Kevin Carmody passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning, July 23, 2020 due to complications related to Covid-19. He grew up in Queens, New York, and was accepted to the Naval Academy at the age of 17. Kevin was a Vietnam era veteran who rose to the rank of Captain. His military service brought him to the Midwest where he met his wife Linda, and together they started a family. The decades to follow were dedicated towards providing a safe and loving home for their children, and together they built them a future worth having. Kevin was an avid reader, golf enthusiast, sudoku aficionado, sports lover, and enjoyed cooking. He possessed a razor sharp wit in line with his New York attitude. He was a gregarious and altruistic soul that opened his home to feed the world including friends, family, and animals. Kevin leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly. The world is forever changed with his passing.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING

I have been working with my therapist Linda Carmody here for going on 9 years now, which is also close to half of my life. She does an amazing job building our sessions to my needs and what works best for me. Without her help, I can say with certainty I wouldn't be where I am now, and feel fortunate to now be ahead of my peers by addressing my past struggles and current weaknesses head-on, which I have felt comfortable to do because of her support. Additionally, everyone else I have talked to here, however brief, has also always been kind and professional.

- Matthew T.

Linda is an exceptional therapist! She listens attentively and offers practical strategies to work through challenges. Her kindness and empathy make it so easy to be open and honest.

- Marcia C.

Allison is very thorough and understanding of all her patient's needs and wants. She definitely helps with coping and coming up with solutions to problems that arise!

- Consuela N.

Linda is a godsend. Worked with her 10 years ago and just reconnected to get support services and help with my teen ASD son. Her care and compassion is phenomenal.

- Abagail

Allison has been wonderful and has helped in so many ways.
